Visit Belfast Zoo
Belfast
Zoo is modern and well run zoo with a particularly good programme of
activities for kids. It is home to more than 100 species of animal,
including many endangered species, all housed in particularly large and
well thought out enclosures.
There are three 'trails' through the Zoo, each with excellent printed
guides which include various activities, games and puzzles for kids,
teaching them about animal conservation, habitats and animal life cycles.
The worksheets for each trail are available in different formats depending
on age group, a particular thoughtful feature.
