Welcome to HomeSchool-Ireland.com!

More and more families in Ireland are deciding that educating their children at home is an option they at least want to investigate. Other families have children who need additional learning support at home and whose parents need help in providing that support.

The reasons are very varied but in all cases parents need information - about their rights or about what they can do to ensure that their children receive the type and quality of education or support that they need.

This site aims to provide parents with the information and resources they need to help them make learning easy, effective and enjoyable in the home.

What's New?

We received an open letter about Home Education in Ireland from David Newton, who is a Home Assessor with the National Education (Welfare) Board and are happy to publish it here in full.
